Deliverables included a week-long budget-friendly menu with full cost analysis, a detailed grocery list with quantities, and a rotation schedule for cooking and cleaning tasks. To further support preparedness, a resident handout was developed to guide families on what to bring if evacuation became necessary. The project balanced public health, nutrition, and emergency management considerations in a community setting.
This proposed clinical study examined the effects of omega-3 fatty acid supplementation on depression symptoms. Participants were assigned to either an intervention group consuming 14 grams of omega-3s weekly for 12 weeks or a placebo group maintaining their usual diet. Outcomes were measured using the Beck Depression Inventory and daily food logs, providing both quantitative and qualitative insights into the potential role of omega-3s in mental health.
This proposed clinical trial explored the effects of vitamin B12 supplementation on perimenopausal symptoms. Participants were randomized to receive either 100 mcg of B12 daily or a placebo for 24 weeks. Symptom questionnaires and blood draws were conducted every four weeks to evaluate changes in both clinical markers and self-reported outcomes, assessing whether B12 could play a role in supporting women’s health during the menopausal transition.
